The Warner Center in Woodland Hills, California, Is Home to Many Corporate International Brethren.

Located in the heart of Woodland Hills, California, the Warner Center is home to some of the best office buildings in the city. While the area has a smattering of residential buildings, the most popular office buildings are the corporate international brethren. The name of the place hints at the corporate powerhouses that populate it, but the commuting workers that call it home are more numerous. As of 2013, the region accounted for 40,000 jobs, more than any other part of the Los Angeles metropolitan area.

The Warner Center isn’t without its flaws, but in many ways it is a dazzling example of what the suburbs can be. Aside from a slew of skyscrapers, the area is also home to a handful of retail stores, restaurants and bars, a hospital and a hotel, and a variety of light industrial buildings. The park itself, in its own right, deserves a mention. While the park may be lacking in attractions, its parking facilities are a good bet. Depending on the time of day, you can park for as little as $5 or as much as $18. The parking is convenient, but there are better options nearby if you’re on a budget.

There is a small, but aptly named, free park located just north of the main entrance to Warner Center Plaza. Designed to be a homage to the old Topanga mall, the park features an open-air sculpture, a children’s play area, and a paved pathway for walking the dog. It’s also home to a number of free concerts, a few of which are sponsored by the Valley Cultural Center. This park is a great way to spend a warm afternoon.

The main draw here is its location. The area is a short walk from the Warner Center bus station, and it is easily accessible by car. The Orange Line runs between the two points, and there are several MetroLink stations in the vicinity. In addition to the many transportation options available, Warner Center itself is a hive of activity, with several commercial buildings, office complexes and a mix of housing types. As of 2013, the region accounted for more commuting office workers than residents. As such, the community is a hot spot for the city’s upwardly mobile, young professionals. It also boasts a notable amount of street parking. For a more up-to-date listing of all the available options, consult the official Warner Center website.

The Warner Center owes its stripes to a variety of entrants, including the Orange Line, which ties the place in the transportation department. Other noteworthy attractions include the Orange County Museum of Art, the San Fernando Regional History Museum, and the Valley Cultural Center, which sponsors the aforementioned free concerts. It’s not hard to see why the region was deemed one of the most desirable locations to live, work, and play. The region is also known for its plethora of parks, trails, and green spaces, including the Warner Center Park, which is a worthy place to spend some time.
